What a summer it has been so far! Many people have had dramatic personal challenges this year, and the global tragedies and social injustice have added to a cosmic soup that is hard for some of us to digest. I wonder if anyone has lost their way, or are we all “on it”? We have certainly had plenty of warning of impending doom and gloom, have we prepared? Do we really know what’s approaching?
Our astrologers have been keeping their eyes to the skies whilst the planets have lined up into unusual and powerful configurations. The influences of this ‘Cardinal Cross’ have been felt far and wide, and now so many more people are talking astrology than ever before. The increasing awareness of planetary influences has compelled more and more people to look beyond the newspaper astrology columns for insight.
The forecast is not looking good – financial crashes, natural disasters of near biblical proportions, tempers clashing, social unrest and conflicts. This planetary dynamic has prompted many to end old relationships; we are prodded to let go of the old to make room for the new, to clear, or even move house, and to accept new patterns in place of old, ill-fitting ones. Globally, governments are questioned, awareness of personal responsibility is raised, and all around us humanity is rebelling against an old system of authority that no longer fits.
Words of reassurance come to my mind from An Hopi Elder speaks….“This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.”
I am excited to find that today, with the sun is at 15 degrees Leo; true Lughnassad, we are given a rare opportunity to walk through another ‘Doorway of Awakening’, the 8:8 LION’S GATE. So what does this mean? There is a lot of information out there, you might want to look it up yourself…let me try to summarise some of the key points;
August 8, is composed of the marriage of matter and antimatter. A place were the polarities meet, and heaven and earth sip from each other’s glass. It is a celebration beyond time that escorts us home through the Sphinx Lion’s Gate to the Stars. The 8:8 STARGATE is symbolic of the human DNA kept separate and secret purposefully. This time passageway allows a new seeding to occur that increases mental capacities, IQ and the ability to remember. (Get it? Well if you don’t now, you will soon)
Emanations from the light behind the sun will rearrange our brain waves, readjusting the thinking patterns that have kept us hostage in an elliptical orbit of humanness. Solar power will move into material form to be seen and felt, uniting the two hemispheres of the brain in a cosmic fusion and birthing a level of light that even the blind will be able to see. (Synchronistically, the sun has shown unexpected emanations visible in some places as northern lights, the waves have been hitting the earth over the last couple of days…is your brain feeling funny yet?)
We find ourselves face to face with our ancient future and our ancient past. Reflections in our world will mirror our inner needs on all levels. We finally find the passion to do, to be, to believe to create without a shadow of doubt. We stand up for what we believe and what believes in us. Everything we do, or do not do will be felt in all sectors of heaven and earth.
So powerful is this solar vibration we will have but one choice as it enters our energy field. The choice is to just allow it to pass through you, not holding on to any part of it. Like a cool breeze on a hot day just allow the solar emanations to encircle and embrace you.
With such new, explosive energy pouring in, with so many dynamic shifts and changes in consciousness, many are bound to feel restless and emotional, and even prone to arguments which have the power to escalate rapidly. So, if you feel moody or fearful, or you suddenly feel more confrontational than usual, you are not going crazy, but only getting on with the program of a global shift of consciousness. (I’d like to see how well that goes down…”sorry I was such a bitch to you last night darling, I’m only getting on with the global shift, don’t take it personally”)
Now, the key is to ride the wave and float with it, rather than swimming against it. Be happy about the small things, tell your loved ones you love them, especially those you haven’t talked to in a while, and most of all, let go of what no longer serves you; you will be a much happier person once you finally understand it’s easier to walk without carrying so much baggage.
It may be useful at this time to ‘Make like a Duck’. The animal medicine from duck reminds me not to take things too seriously, least of all myself; and to let other people’s projections of what they think I should be, do or have roll right off my back. Also, ducks work hard to move on. The dramatic movement happens just under the water, out of sight, yet they float with absolute grace and dignity.
Let go of the bank little ducky and come join the party!
Love and Bright blessings
