Glastonbury Zodiac

Glastonbury Zodiac

A dog greets us with wagging tail,
A salmon leaps from head of lamb.
Bull looks over dundon twins,
On milky way’s ecliptic stand.

As crab crawls up to lions mane,
The great beast lifts his head across,
And lady holds aloft the grain,
Ecliptic cross of equinox.

Lifting up to eternal dove,
Flying into scorpion claw.
The archer takes a careful aim,
And goat foot god stands by the door,

Where water flows, eternal rain,
And salmon turns to leap again.
And so complete the circle round,
Of secrets marked in sacred ground.
